Dreams. What are dreams exactly? That is no simple question. Dreams to me are our representation of a perfect reality, of a world where we are in control of everything and nothing is outside the realm of possibility. Dreams are where everything we could possibly wish to happen happens and we no longer have to find ourselves hoping for them because there they are in their purest form, their most ideal for; the form that we have given them.

Dreams are also the blueprints for what we want to make happen. The plans for where things should end up, or for what they will become, or who they will become. This alternate reality is created in the mind’s eye of everything that is perfect. There is no limit to what can happen in a dream. And from these dreams we begin to form our lives based around these ideas. We seek to take these dreams from an ephemeral state and plan them in reality to be lived as long as it shall be. This is for me what dreams are.

  2. After his last day at Zucca, Onozuka might go to a place far far away called Buenos Aires, simply because he likes the move Happy Together. And I was like, what is there in store for you? Love? He laughed and said he is too old for that. But I don’t think so. Just like a couple of days ago, Onozuka be on bet on a horse race and won a serious amount of money. So never say never. Life is funny that way. And when a chapter ends, another begins; it might even begin right away.

  3. The Same Old New

Every generation of city-dwelling teenagers and 20-somethings think that they’re the first people ever to do everything in the history of forever. This self-importance is reinforced by the copious amounts of ink spilled by fawning trend pieces in major magazines and newspapers. These pieces frequently start as a freelancer’s desperation to fill a word-limit combined with a desire to co-opt the unquenchable self-involvement of teenagers and 20-somethings to read about themselves in print which then snowballs into the emergence of “movements.” Flappers, rockabilly greasers, the beats, the hippies, punks, generation x slackers, generation y, hipsters — they’re all iterations of the same thing: Young, good-looking people with tight bodies and weird cloths. And yet, each new group of young people think it’s come up with something unspeakably new.

  4. Eat Shanghai See Beijing.
If I’m an emperor I will do nothing and not wear Emporio Armani.
Finding my oriental roots through food and browsing antiques at a fastfood chain.
Forbidden City turned unforbidden, just like how all of us tasted the forbidden fruit. Looking in the mirror, I see Beijing in me. I’m Chinese writing English. I’m a fusion modern monster.
Winter Beijing, saw no snow. I need snow to feel cold.

  6. If you could become another person just for one day, who would you like to become?
“Another me. Seeing how I’m living my life. Recently I’m feeling a little exhausted, emotionally, but I can’t tell exactly what is bothering me. If I could jump out from myself, perhaps the picture will become clearer.” - Kim Kiroic

  7. There is a chinese saying about how we should enjoy the present while we can - shall there be wine; shall we be drunk; like now.
The world we live in comes with a million uncertainties, almost as many as the daily tweets from those fashion poseurs around the globe. We say screw them (the uncertainties and the tweets at least) and we leave our worries behind. cherish what we have now. Be grateful for the cards we are dealt and make the most of them. You can dress to the nines and express the hell out of yourself. You can create everything from scratch like the deadline is tonight. You can even love like you never loved before and dive in deep. No regrets; no hesitation; no over-thinking; no procrastination - those are just accessories for losers and their lags. There is nothing that cannot happen today. Doing it now trumps thinking you’re gonna do it, or might do it. so walk that walk and talk that talk today and you will be good, or even better. That bliss of achievement and that sense of i-did-it satisfaction cannot be reserved for the future. Because one today is worth two tomorrows. And you don’t want to chance that second chance the next day. There is no future. There is no past. Trust your soul and act now. Today is golden.
So there. No day but 2day.
